Luna joins us after spending a couple seasons as a guide dog in South Dakota. Luna has picked up hundreds of roosters in her life, from South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. She has had two liters with us now and is a great mom when it comes to taking care of her pups. Luna has her American Pointing Labrador Association (APLA) Certified Pointing Retriever (CPR) title. Luna is the total package looks, drive, speed, point and athleticism. She loves to train and is very intelligent. This dog is a joy to watch work the upland field! She has a nose that can pick up scent from a long ways off. When she hits that scent she locks up super tight for a picture perfect point.
Luna has had 2 litters with us and have turned in to very nice all around hunting, hunt test and family dogs.

There aren't too many chocolate dogs around as nice as Nitro! He has it all, looks, drive, marking, blind running and just a pleasure to be around. Nitro is a member of the Hunting Retriever Club 500 point club. He is out of one of the nicest chocolate dogs there has ever been. His sire Jeter has proven himself in every way. He has has his Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH), Amateur Super Retriever Series Crown Champion (SRSACC), Amateur Super Retriever Series (SRSAC), Master National Hunter (MNH), Master Hunter (MH) and Qualified All Age (QAA). That Jeter dog did it all! He's throwing that in his pups, Nitro is a great example but so was our Hope dog. Athletic and fast are just a couple words that come to mind when I think of Jeter pups. Then there is Islay, a Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH), Master National Hunter (MNH) and Master Hunter (MH). I can honestly say I saw Islay line more blinds that she ran, than blinds she had whistles on. She's one of the best chocolate dogs I've had the pleasure of seeing run. It's not hard to see where Nitro got all his talent.
