All we can say is wow!! Sway is the perfect name for this little girl. She hasn't stopped moving since we got her and that's exactly the kind of dog we like. She isn't afraid of anything and her prey drive is through the roof. She is out of two great producers that aren't your every day chocolate dogs you see in a lot of pedigrees. Her sire is 3xGRHRCH Westlake's Straight from the Barrel MH MNR "Barley" and GRHRCH Islay's Smoky Wee Dram MH MNH "Islay". Sway is now back at the kennel and ready to be Russ's main waterfowl dog this winter. She will also give the upland field a go and see how she likes that. We have no doubt she will excel at what ever we ask here to do.

Blu is proving to be one of the best chocolate dogs around. It's been a good 2024 for him, passing the International Grand twice and the picking up a Master National Plate . Now passing 3 International Grands and 2 Master National plates. Those passes give him those titles 3 time Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (3xGRHRCH) and Master National Retriever (MNR) Blue is an intellect and he is VERY trainable. A line breeding with FC AFC Land Ahoy (Pirate) on both the top and bottom. Blu's sire is AFC Brink's Buster Brown QA2 and his dam is a Gump female with her Master Hunt title. A very steady dog, a strong marker and even better blind runner, very much a team player. He can be found laying at the fireplace or in the duck blind on his days off. To go with all that he is a great looking dog with a nice square head and dark chocolate coat.
